Here's another really great NYC treat off the streets of New York City! Since melt only has one official "store", many of melt's stores can only be found on food carts. Some of these carts can be seen above. Make sure you don't buy any "fake" melt's because I have seen quite a lot in NYC. They are around $5 a melt and are totally worth the price! YAY ICE CREAM!
Here are some melt ice-cream sandwiches. Here are the current flavors for the summer. They usually don't change; however, during special events, they may make new sandwiches for certain occasions such as Independence Day~My ultimate favorite is the Lovelet as I absolutely love ANYTHING red velvet flavored, so obviously I love the lovelet, but I would also recommend the Cocoa daddy. It's really rich in chocolate and tastes amazing.

OOHHHH the process of making melt cookies! Here's the inside scoop on how melt's are made. Honestly, it's basically just ice cream plus two cookies. They taste absolutely amazing and are totally worth the price especially when you're walking around NYC in the hot hot heat (ew - the heat was terrible this year).
YAY for ice cream melts! They come in so many different flavors and sizes. You can ask them for a thicker cookie or more ice cream at times. The different sizes also vary at the different ice cream carts (the light blue carts are more common than the slightly purple ones). OH AND also, some carts may run out towards the end of the day during the summer, since each only has a limited quantity. BUT if you find any of these carts, I would definitely recommend trying it at least once (GO FOR THE LOVELET!!!) - no shame advertising lol.
