Here are some examples of macarons from the Macaron Parlour. There are SO MANY VARIATIONS of macarons its actually insane. These are some of my favorite flavors and some of the more "traditional" ones that are usually there year round... They taste so amazing and you definitely have to try these.
Here is the outside of the Macaron Parlour that I believe is on 1st ave (I may be mistaken lol)... I absolutely love this store as it sells everything and can be a quick and easy morning run (or evening I guess)... However, sometimes the lines are long so make sure you don't go around 6-ish to 9 because most people converge there around that time...
These are some of the pastries that the Macaron Parlour sells. (These pics are from Google since I usually don't buy pastries from here.. so I don't really have any pics :/). You can try them but I wouldn't recommend them since this store isn't really famous for its pastries. If you do want pastries, you should definitely go to Dominique Ansel...
OK SO THESE MACARONS ARE ONLY DURING SPECIAL OCCASIONS. My personal favorite-ish is the middle one which is the cheat macaron. It sounds kinda disgusting but tastes almost exactly like a cheat except in cream format... I mean I guess yea it is kinda weird but its still good .-. Anyways, these are during special occasions or anniversaries that the store will make many different flavored/shapes/colored macarons so I would definitely suggest getting one to try although the original ones in my opinion are much better...
Packaging timeeeeee~ Macarons can be bought in packs of 6, 12, and 24. They also have gift sets like the picture on the very right where you can buy only two (they're more expensive - aka don't buy them)... I would definitely recommend going with your friends and buying a large pack to share because thats the most effective (LOL cheapskate right here). Anyways, these macarons are delicious and can be given as a birthday present if you're really not sure what to buy for a friend - everyone loves macarons!
